The Medicine Objective is advancing Black heart health in St. Paul’s Rondo through free health/blood pressure checks, free heart healthy groceries, digital health education, and culturally responsive cardiovascular disease risk counseling. Led with and for Rondo residents, with support from MDH. Our events begin in May and will last throughout the summer!

Volunteer with us!
We’re looking for volunteers interested in supporting community-rooted heart health and wellness work in Rondo. This is a great opportunity for students and other individuals interested in the health sciences, though this background is not required.
Volunteers will help support Black Heart’s Matter pop-ups and other community-based events. You’ll be on the ground engaging with community members, learning from local leaders, and contributing to holistic community health worker initiatives.


Become a community health worker
Are you passionate about heart health, health equity, and supporting your neighbors in Rondo? Rondo C.A.R.E. is training three Black Rondo community members to serve as Community Health Workers and help connect neighbors to heart health education, MyChart support, food resources, and follow-up care.
This role includes a quarterly stipend of $1,250.

Rondo C.A.R.E. is hiring a part-time Project Coordinator to support coordination, communication, volunteer engagement, and community events for our Black cardiovascular health initiative in Rondo.
This is a great role for someone interested in Black health equity, community engagement, healthcare, and culturally informed approaches to health coaching!
