MEET TMO FOUNDER & LEAD CONSULTANT TEGAN M. CARR
Tegan M. Carr (she/they) is a dynamic consultant, educator, researcher, & activist specializing in mixed-methods research, health equity, community-centered care, decolonizing methods, and radical healing & liberatory practices. As the founder of The Medicine Objective, Tegan focuses on community empowerment, health system reform, and decolonization.
Tegan's unique approach to providing services combines a natural affinity for cognitive connectivity and critical reasoning with a multidisciplinary background in behavioral health, research & development, clinical healthcare, social science & analysis, community organizing, project coordination, psychedelic-assisted therapies, and Indigenous & abolitionist approaches to healing & liberation.
Tegan works with diverse groups, from small community orgs to educational institutions and health service systems, such as the University of Minnesota, HealthPartners, and Hennepin Health Institute. Tegan proudly holds a 100% contract fulfillment rate.
Tegan received multiple accolades for her equity work and has been honored by organizations such as the American Academy of Medical Colleges and the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians. She speaks and teaches at conferences and professional events across the United States.
