At The Medicine Objective, we are keenly aware of the ways in which slavery and colonization act to sever our traditional interdependence with nature. We believe that many of the disparities and ailments that we face in our society are a result of this brokenness and we are working to revive and restore humanity's powerful relationship with nature.

Decolonization is at the heart of The Medicine Objective and nature is the greatest force opposing decolonization. The use of the word Medicine in The Medicine Objective references the traditional meaning of Medicine describing the balance (or imbalance) and interdependency of all things. It is the work of the Healer to see and reach into this intricate web of universal relation.
